Director (Mrs. Dana) & Husband (Joey Privette)
Before becoming Director, Mrs. Dana taught Pre-K for 27 years. In church she has worked with nursery, toddlers, preschoolers, youth, singles ministry, and children with disabilities. She also had the privilege to lead praise and worship at church. Mrs. Dana has been blessed with her husband of 32 years, and together they have 3 daughters, 1 son, and 5 grandsons.

Susan Curtis
Assistant Director
MWF 3’s Teacher & T/Th 3’s Teacher
Mrs. Susan has taught preschool for 14 years, as well as helping with Awanas, children’s ministry, youth ministry, and ladies ministry. This will be Mrs. Susan’s 2nd year as Assistant Director. She has been married to her husband (Robert) for 31 years, and together they have 2 precious children. Mrs. Susan is known for her willingness to help others in any situation as well as showing the children the love of Jesus through her teaching.

Renee Beck
Transitional Kindergarten Teacher
Mrs. Renee has taught preschool for 12 years. She has worked in preschool Sunday school, taught GEMS (girls K-5th grade), and elementary age Sunday school for 15 years. She also served as part of the family ministry team at church. Mrs. Renee has been married to her husband (Robbie) for 19 years, and they have 2 sweet children together. She is known for her devotion and hard work as well as always willing to help in any circumstance.

Kayla Privette
5 Day 4’s Teacher
Ms. Kayla has taught Pre-K for 11 years at Faith, Primrose, and Amelia Academy. She has worked with children with disabilities, and preschool aged children at church. She is known for going above and beyond her call of duty as well as being very hands on with work. She lets her creativity shine through.

Kelley Goodson
5 Day 4’s Teacher
Mrs. Kelley has been teaching Pre-K and working in the Early Intervention field for the last several years. Mrs. Kelley graduated ECU in 2008 with her B.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences and completed her M.S. in Child Development and Family Relations with concentration in Autism Research in 2010. She has been married to her husband (Josh) for 10 years and together they have 2 beautiful children. Mrs. Kelley is known for her kind and loving spirit as well as her creativity.

Charlyne Laudrille
TWTh 4’s Teacher
Ms. Charlyne has been working with children for over 30 years between church, preschool, and children’s church. She is known for her fun spirit, and game teaching. She brings the Bible alive to the children with her special friend Bible Joe.

Pam Davis
5 Day 3’s Teacher
Mrs. Pam has always been very involved at school with her children from preschool through elementary. She volunteered for 2 years at New Beginnings where she did special events by bringing her horses, cows, lambs, and goats for all of the children to learn about them. She has been married to her husband (Brian) for 14 years and together they have 3 precious children. Last year was Mrs. Pam’s very first year teaching in the classroom and it became her natural gift.

Jennifer Oliver
3’s Assistant
Mrs. Jennifer has been working with children for the last 8 years, with 2 of those years being a lead teacher. Mrs. Jennifer has had many different roles from assistant, sub, and floater. She has been married for almost 14 years to her husband (Jason) and they have 2 beautiful children. Mrs. Jennifer can do anything she puts her mind to and she does it to perfection. She goes above and beyond her call of duty.

Kayla Brown
5 Day 2’s Teacher
Mrs. Kayla will be starting her 2nd year as a lead teacher. She also works with grade school children in gymnastics camps. She has 3 precious children who are 6, 4, and 3. Mrs. Kayla is known for her hard work ethic and willing to do anything that is asked of her.

Edie Overton
MWF 2’s Teacher
Mrs. Edie has been teaching for 18 years. One year in the 18 months class, and 17 years in the 2’s. Mrs. Edie also taught Awanas and worked in the nursery for 4 years. Mrs. Edie is known for her loving heart and how she loves on the kids in her class. She also makes the transition from mom to preschool a wonderful experience.

Dianne Hill
MWF 2’s Assistant
Mrs. Dianne started working in the preschool setting in November of 2020, but has kept children in her home setting for 21 years. She also worked in the church nursery for 3 years. Mrs. Dianne is known to wear many hats from floating, subbing, assisting, and teaching. She always comes in each day with a joyful heart and attitude.

Casey Weaver
18-24 Month Teacher
Mrs. Casey has taught dance at Expressions of Worship and she will be joining us this year to teach the 18-24 month old class. Mrs. Casey also works with outpatient therapy. We are so excited to have her this year as she is always smiling and joyful. Mrs. Casey is known for teaching with her Godly heart.

Joy Perry
18/24 Months Assistant
This is Mrs. Joy’s first year assisting in preschool. She recently retired from insurance after 44 years. She has been married to her husband, Danny for 52 years. Together they have 3 children, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Michelle Curtis
18/24 Months Assistant
Mrs. Michelle is starting her 3rd year of working with preschoolers. She has worked with 18 months, and 3 year olds. She is a fun and loving teacher. She loves spending time with her husband, Scott, and daughter, Kailey.

Carolyn Ferguson
Floater
Mrs. Carolyn worked 25 years with the Veterans Administration, 10 years in the banking industry, and 2 years with the NC Aquarium Society. She states that her most valuable time was when she was working with children in the nursery, lead teaching the 2 year olds, 4 year olds, and 14 year old girls, as well as Awanas. Mrs. Carolyn has been in the preschool setting for 3 years. She has 1 daughter and 2 grandchildren. Mrs. Carolyn is known for her sweet spirit and how much she loves Jesus. She will pray with you, laugh with you, and cry with you, but most importantly she will love you. Mark 10:14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

Judeane Lewis
Floater
Mrs. Judeane worked 20 years in the school system as a TA with 12 of those years being in kindergarten. She was a first responder and the diabetic care manager at the school before retiring. Mrs. Judeane retired from Franklin County EMS as a paramedic. She has been married to her husband (Lynn) for 43 years and together they have 2 children, and 1 granddaughter. This will be her 3rd year in the preschool setting, and she is known for her giving heart. She goes above and beyond all expectations and we couldn’t be any luckier to have her on our team.
