Transitional Kindergarten Teacher

Jisselle is a nurse with 6 years of experience working part-time in the Mother-Baby Unit as well as Labor & Delivery. Outside of work, she is a proud mom to a fun-loving 5-year-old boy named Roberto and happily married to her high school sweetheart. Their home is filled with love (and a little chaos!) thanks to their 2 dogs and 18 chickens. Jisselle is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, which helps her connect with families from diverse backgrounds and provide comfort in their preferred language. We are so excited that she will be adding that into the classroom this year. She goes above and beyond her call of duty and is always a ray of sunshine no matter what is going on in her life. We are truly lucky to have her on our staff.

4’s Teacher

Ms. Kayla has taught Pre-K for 13 years at Faith, Primrose, and Amelia Academy. Ms. Kayla trains the teachers here at Faith and does a lot of the work behind the scenes. She has worked with children with disabilities, and preschool aged children at church. She is known for going above and beyond her call of duty as well as being very hands on with work. She loves to let her creativity shine through. During her free time she can be found with her nephews or at the beach.

4’s Teacher

Mrs. Toni was a lead teacher at Kid’s Educational Center for three years & has been a licensed insurance agent for the last 9 years. This will be her second year at FPA and we are so excited to see her creativity shine in the classroom. She loves spending time with her family and has a 5 year old son, Lucas, as well as two twin baby boys that will be due this summer. She enjoys working with children and traveling — especially Disney World. She looks forward to making a difference in the lives of the children each year.

4’s Assistant

This is Mrs. Joy’s 3rd year at FPA. The children love her so much and she loves them right back. She will do anything asked of her and do her best at it. She retired from insurance after 44 years and has been married to her husband, Danny for 53 years. Together they have 3 children, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren

3’s Teacher

Ms. Laura has worked in child care for a total of 4 years and has owned her own photography business for 3.5 years! She loves being in the classroom and encouraging little minds to grow in confidence! She also has a 6 year old daughter, Olivia and nieces and nephews she holds close to her heart. She looks forward to her first year at FPA and loving and encouraging each and every student!

3’s Teacher

Mrs. Lori Beth is excited to be joining the 3’s classroom as a Lead Teacher this year! She has been a 4’s assistant, 2’s assistant and a substitute for all ages. This is her first year as a lead teacher, and she is grateful for the opportunity to grow in this role.

She has always felt called to teach, and preschool has become the perfect place for her to help little ones learn and grow each day. Her faith is an important part of her life and guides her work with children and families.

Mrs. Lori Beth is married to her husband, Jaxon, and they have two children, Willow Rose (5) and Barron (2). Their family loves spending time together at the pool and enjoying simple, joyful moments.

2’s & 3’s Assistant

Ms. Bree recently graduated from KHS in January and started working with us shortly after. She will be attending Wake Tech in the fall to major in Forensic Science. She has been working with children since she was 14, and she is absolutely amazing with them. She has been babysitting, helping care for her younger siblings, and completing an internship at a preschool before attending KHS. Ms. Bree also has previously worked as a lifeguard at Southall for 2 years. Her passion has always been working with children, and you can tell by the way she cares for them.

Young 2’s Teacher

Lety is married to her husband, William and they have 4 children; 3 boys and 1 girl together. This is her 2nd year at FPA. Lety is the perfect first year teacher as she is so loving, calm, and keeps them busy with crafts. She has always had a passion to work with children and has been working with children for the last 15 years working with pediatric dentistry. When she is not working she loves to spend time with her family exploring new places like restaurants, parks, or new outdoor adventures!

2’s Assistant

Mrs. Lauren is married to her  husband Dennis and they have 2 beautiful daughters together as well as an adorable poodle named Molly. Her favorite activity outside of teaching is hanging out with her family. Mrs. Lauren has a background working at zoos and aquariums teaching educational shows for families about animals. She also was a preschool teacher at Hudson Memorial Preschool for 1 year.  Her passion and where she feels best is working with and educating children.  Her greatest strength is her love for the children and always encouraging others.

2’s Assistant

Mrs. Judy has worked in the preschool setting for many years as an assistant in the 2’s and 18 months. You will see her with a beautiful smile on her face and she is always full of laughter. We are so blessed to have her back with us.

Floater/Sub

Mrs. Kristin is known for her loving spirit and how Jesus shines through her. She has taught all ages of pre-k and has assisted in Transitional Kindergarten. She has been married to her husband Stephen for 26 years and they have 3 daughters. We are so blessed to have her sweet spirit on our team.
